Pennsylvania-based Molly Brannigan's authentic Irish pub and restaurant announces plans for nation-wide growth with openings scheduled for Phoenix and Las Vegas in 2005.
"Our first locations in Erie and Harrisburg were very well received by both the local communities and the food service industry," explains John Melody, Molly Brannigan's managing director and founder. "We are now focusing on an aggressive plan for national growth."
Molly Brannigan's Phoenix pub site, located in the new Dana Park Village Square Shops in Mesa , AZ , is scheduled to open in February. Dana Park Village Square Shops is under construction near the intersection of Baseline Road and Val Vista Drive . The upscale facility will also be home to Chico 's, Nevada Leather Furniture, Jared's, Kirkland 's, Ann Taylor Loft, Baker Bros., and many other upscale retailers.
The opening of Molly Brannigan's Las Vegas is scheduled for March 2005 and will be located in the Boca Park Shopping Center in Summerlin , NV , located 20 minutes north of the Las Vegas strip.
"Our long range growth plan includes a total of 50 Molly Brannigan's locations nationwide within the next five years," Melody continues. "We've created an authentic and inviting atmosphere by importing furnishings, bars and even portions of our facades direct from Ireland . Our commitment to maintaining our vision of an authentic Irish pub with our menu, surroundings and atmosphere has contributed to and will continue to fuel our success."
Molly Brannigan's pubs are specially designed to incorporate actual imported Irish pub interiors. Irish salvage dealers cleverly removed and preserved the invaluable interiors during a period when many pubs were being modernized in the 1960's. As a result, each Molly Brannigan's location can live-up to its claim of being an authentic Irish pub. Irish pub building company, Celtic Pubs, helps create each unique location's façade and interior design using actual materials and creative influences direct from Ireland .
The first Molly Brannigan's opened in late 2002 in Erie , PA , the Harrisburg , PA , location in June 2004. A third location in Mt. Lebanon , PA , just south of Pittsburgh , opens in February 2005. Each location has a staff of approximately 60 employees.
Patrons can enjoy the authentic ambience of an Irish pub and a selection of more than a dozen beers on draught and 20 varieties of Irish whiskey. With a reputation for very high-quality casual dining and a family-friendly atmosphere, Molly Brannigan's serves individually prepared traditional Irish fare, as well as a variety of American menu selections.
