Sentinel Capital Partners, New York, acquired Interim HealthCare, Sunrise, Fla., a home health firm and provider of supplemental staffing for healthcare facilities and businesses. Terms weren't disclosed. The sellers were Cornerstone Equity Investors and Banc of America. Sentinel said it expects considerable growth in the home health field. The healthcare staffing market, meanwhile, is likely to remain robust, with "no slowdown in sight," said Allan Sorensen, Interim's chief executive officer. The company has annual sales of more than $600 million and provides services to about 50,000 patients a day in 38 states. Sentinel specializes in buying and building smaller and middle-market companies in the U.S. and Canada. Interim is its third investment in healthcare.
