San Diego Author’s New Book Hits Home

Especially During These Difficult Economic Times

A century ago, Napoleon Hill began researching and writing his classic, Think and Grow Rich, which sold more than 100 million copies worldwide.  On the 100th anniversary comes a fresh and modern look at the core theme of Hill’s master work.

San Diego Author Greg Reid, along with co-author Sharon Lechter, has once again written a book that is sure to change the lives of many.  While these difficult economic times have placed a significant amount of people on the unemployed list, Greg Reid reminds everyone “to keep smiling – you’re only three feet from gold.”  Greg’s recently released book, Think and Grow Rich: Three Feet from Gold, is already an Amazon and Barnes and Noble #1 best seller and featured on their corporate home pages as the suggested reading.

Steve Forbes, Editor-In-Chief of Forbes, President and CEO of Forbes Inc has dubbed the book “The perfect message of hope and inspiration for people during the current economic crisis.”

The book release is set to be followed with a world video premiere, at The Grove of Anaheim, on October 24.  The video documentary will share the truth behind creating a best selling book, showcasing the travel, and  the challenges and the interviews that went into the project.

Associate Producer to Think and Grow Rich: Three Feet from Goldand President of Windermere Exclusive Properties, Steve Rodgers, knows all to well of the difficult times this economy has presented.  As the former President of Prudential California Realty, Rodgers spent time downsizing and consolidating by reducing the number of in house executives and closing offices up and down the coast.  At years end Steve found himself on the wrong end of the downsizing and no longer President.  “It was a hard time.  I was forced to let go of some very close colleagues of mine only to find that my position had been downsized as well.  I found myself at odds with corporate America and unsure of my next step.” said Steve Rodgers.

When Steve Rodgers was invited to use his life experiences as a piece of Greg Reid’s newest inspirational work he immediately jumped at the opportunity.  Napoleon Hill’s writing has always had tremendous influence on Steve Rodgers.  Those that know Steve know he is a contagiously positive person who remains focused and driven in the most trying of times.  Since joining Windermere Exclusive Properties he has surrounded himself with executives that continue to put people before profit while bringing in some of the best agents in Southern California.  The future looks prosperous for Steve Rodgers and Windermere Exclusive Properties as they continue to look in the right direction, Three Feet at a time.

Greg S. Reid is an author, speaker, filmmaker, and CEO of several successful corporations. His prior books include The Millionaire Mentor (2003) and Positive Impact co-authored with Charlie “Tremendous” Jones. In addition, he is co-founder of Personal Development magazine and his writings have appeared in more than 30 books. Reid has been featured on local and nationally syndicated programs across the country. He also speaks frequently at corporations, universities, and charitable organizations.  Reid’s last work Pass It On was awarded the key to the city of San Diego by Mayor Jerry Sanders.
