Just a simple process plugin to prevent windows power saver settings from turning off the monitor during video play.
I made this because the only working alternative I could find was change the power settings so theat the monitor doesn't turn off for hours which wastes power.
Install in buy placing the MonitorPowerControl.dll in the pluginsprocess directory in your MediaPortal directory.
Works for both Vista and XP

Plugin for Leadtek's Coolcommand remote control in MediaPortal v0.2.3+.
To make this work you must have WinfastPVR installed and Winfast Wizard must be running (tray app). Also if you have new version of the WinFast Wizard you must uncheck "MCE Remote" option.
Visit plugin homepage to find out how to start MediaPortal with the remote.
If your remote isn't listed set LogLevel to Debug in MediaPortal setup under general options. Then you will see something like "CoolReciver : 80" in the log file, where 80 is recived key code after you press rm button. Then all you need is to edit CoolReciver_Default.xml to match your remote. |

This version fixes the inital focus issue, and also changes focus to already running MediaPortal when green button is pushed

This is a special plug-in to support a custom hardware designed specially to control MediaPortal with RC5 compatible remote control, to display various informations in MediaPortal on external lcd display, and power on computer with rc5 compatible remote control.
The archive contains all informations needed to create the hardware part and setup a software to control it (firmware is also included)
The main features of this hardware/software solution are:
- Computer can be powered on/controlled with any rc5 compatible
remote control.
- Various information like current time, alarm if any, can be displayed on
external lcd display even when the computer is powered off.
- Various information from the MediaPortal can be displayed on the
external display, when the MediaPortal is running.
- Informations which can be displayed on the external lcd display are fully

MoMPt is an opensource project that offers a set of tools to access and control
MediaPortal TV Server remotely from Linux. It allows users to watch live TV on Nokia N800, for instance.
The MoMPtPlugin
is just a piece of this engine, which is a MediaPortal plugin that
should be installed in the MediaPortal TV Server. The MoMPtPlugin
export some functionalities, like the EPG, the scheduler (adding and
removing schedules), the recorder (adding and removing recordings),
etc., of MediaPortal TV Server using XML-RPC. Some additional
functionalities are offered by MoMPtPlugin: transcode of realtime live
TV, transcode of recordings, that could be accessed by a webserver.
With the MoMPtPlugin installed,
you can access MediaPortal TV Server functionalities from a internet

MP-TVSeries can scan your harddrive for video files, analyse them by their path structures and then, if determined to be a TV Episode, go online and retrieve information about them. You can then browse, manage and play your episodes from inside MP in a nice graphical layout.

The information it retrieves is coming from http://www.thetvdb.com/ which allows any user to add and update information. Please go there and support zsori (author and admin) by inputing data, uploading banners and clicking his ads. Remember, without this database (and the mirrors ppl are kindly providing) none of this would be possible. All fields available there are/will be supported.

One of my favorite game in the 90th. A nice version of the original MB game on the MP. The goal of the game is to remember a tone/light sequence. With more tones speed increase. You can play with the mouse, remote (color or 2-4-6-8 or arrows) buttons. It is fun believe me.
